Carlson Building Services (CBS) was founded in Minnesota by Teresa Carlson (CEO) and David Carlson (President) and today is a primarily woman-owned business. CBS was built on the foundation of delivering high-quality janitorial services at a competitive price, with exceptional service. These same principles guide our business today.
1996
CBS changed our business model to leverage the expertise of our internal staff and the trades people in the markets we serve. We began our business by hiring staff to perform janitorial services. As our business continued to grow, we found we could provide better service, faster and at more competitive rates by hiring experts in the field, allowing our internal staff to focus on facilities management.
2004
CBS expanded beyond janitorial services to become a single source for all interior and exterior facilities management services including HVAC, snow removal, lawn care and handyman services. With a consistent 96% client retention rate, we also expanded geographically to manage all locations for our clients.
2013
The Tegrete name is born. As a result of our continued business expansion and growth, we outgrew our family business name that had served us well for 20 years. The Tegrete name is derived from our core values of trust and integrity.
Today
Tegrete is a privately-held company with corporate headquarters in St. Michael, Minnesota, delivering facilities management services to companies across the U.S.
